Video Game Review Series- Episode 2

It Takes Two is an action-adventure game that was developed by Hazelight Studios and published by Electronic Arts (EA). It is the second game from Hazelight Studios.

The plot of It Takes Two is that a married couple, Cody and May, who are mutually going to separate from their marital life, have a girl child named Rose. They told her about their plan for divorce. When she came to know that her parents were no longer staying together, she was a kid, so she couldn't do anything. So she takes two dolls, which she considers the miniatures of her parents. went to the store room and took her favourite book, “The Book of Love,” and made a wish to the book to make her parents happy together, and her teardrops dropped into the dolls. At the very moment, her parents were transformed into dolls.

Now this clashing couple is in a position to solve the puzzle and help each other get back to their normal size.

It has pretty decent graphics, and the gameplay is very worth mentioning in this blog because it makes us eagerly wait for the next moment in this game. The puzzles are very interesting to solve. It provides a unique experience. Because in most of the games that we played, we had more than one boss fight, but the bosses were in human form, alien form, or looked like giant monsters. But in this game, as Cody and May are in your toy size, even a small tennis ball is the thread to them because it looks like a giant ball for them.

In my opinion, the best thing in this game is the split-screen feature. The split-screen feature helps two players play on one display or device. Hazelight Studios already used the split screen feature in their first game, “A Way Out." It creates a nostalgic feel for all the games, and it reminds us of the days that we paid and played video games in game centres.

It is one of my favourite games that I have played with my elder brother.

For the game It Takes Two, I give it 4.5 stars.
